The International Youth Film Festival will be held in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, August 31). From 3 to 6 of September, Kazan will host the X International Youth Film Festival. The event will be held at the same time as the VI annual Educational Forum “The Time of Cinema”, at which the strongest participants from all over Russia will present their film projects. </p> <p> </p> <p> The events will be held at three venues in Kazan: a cinema hall of the Cultural and Leisure Complex “Lenin”, the Kazan State Institute of Culture (master classes), and the showroom of the Higher School of Journalism and Media Communications (the KFU). The opening of the forum and the youth film festival will take place on September 3 at 7 pm in the CLC “Lenin”. </p> <p> </p> <p> One of the sections of the educational forum will be the presentations of the film projects “Work in Progress”. Applications for participating were accepted from different cities of Russia, 10 works reached the finals. </p> <p> </p> <p> The presentation of projects will take place on September 5 at the cinema hall of the CLC “Lenin”, the start is at 11 am. There will be two age categories. The children's category includes films “Magic Herring” by E. Gabidullin, “Dreams” by V. Radostev, and “Little Bear” by F. Gafarov. The adult category includes “The Old Warrior” by S. Bataev, “Egegey” by T. Ganeev, “A Character” by R. Muzafarov, “Breathe Deeper”, “Asiya”, and “Aftertaste”, and others. </p> <p> </p> <p> After the presentation of the projects, discussion and communication with the audience are planned. The festival will be closed by Alexey Petrukhin's film “The Last Test”, reports the press service of the Directorate “Time of Cinema”. </p>
