New school year: Safety basics and Homeland protection classrooms will be available in Tatarstan and school chats will be moved to Max

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan held a plenary session of the Republican meeting of education and science workers

Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais (Head) Tatarstan held the annual plenary session of the Republican meeting of education and science workers today in Innopolis. The main topic of discussion was the Values of Modern Education. Among the participants were Ilsur Khadiullin, Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan, and Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan.

The participants of the meeting received a welcome address by Sergey Kravtsov, the Russian Minister of Education, in a videoconference mode.

Ilsur Khadiullin, the Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science, made the main report. He emphasized the significance of science, both fundamental and applied research, in the development of the education system and the economy of the region in collaboration with industrial partners, reports the Press Office of the Rais of Tatarstan.

The Minister also reported that Tatarstan is one of the six pilot regions for the transition of school chats to the national messaging app Max. Tatarstan is scheduled to switch from Sferum to Max by September 13.

At the end of the meeting, the Rais of Tatarstan presented teachers with state awards from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. Besides, educational institutions were awarded certificates for school buses (62 in total).
